About me, Mrs. Chambers
My name is Carly Chambers and this is my third year teaching here at Rutland. I am the 6-12 Special Education teacher at Rutland School. I graduated from Dakota State University with a K-8 Elementary Education degree and a K-12 Special Education degree. I enjoy working with students and have since I could remember. I graduated high school from a town called Waconia in Minnesota where I had lived since I was in second grade. I had worked with different age groups throughout high school and enjoyed every minuet of it. My parents now live in Bismarck, North Dakota where almost all of my family lives.
Outside of school, I work at a restaurant on Lake Madison called The Broadwater and have been there for the last 3 years. I live in the large town of Wentworth with my two dogs, Donatello who is a black lab mix and Trueman who is a Corgi, and my husband Joe. I did get married this summer and am still working on remembering the new name! On my spare time, I like to paint, cook and relax with friends. I love teaching at Rutland and am excited to spend many more years here with the great faculty and friends I have already gained by being here!
Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions!
